How the monthly quota works
Plans are sized by how many new photos you analyze each month, not by total library size. Three short rules cover every case:
1, The monthly number
"1,000 photos / month" means up to 1,000 new photos
analyzed each billing month. Connecting a folder with
more photos in it is fine, we just analyze them in
batches over time.
2, Your library is forever
Photos you've already analyzed stay in your library and stay
searchable as long as your account is active. They do
not count against next month's quota.
3, Going over is fine
Overage is billed at $0.025 per extra photo.
We email you at 80% and 100% so you choose to keep going or
pause until next month. No surprise charges.
Worked example: A Hobby user on $19/mo analyzes 1,200 photos in March, the first 1,000 are included, the extra 200 are $5 (200 × $0.025). The same user's library now has 1,200 photos in it, which stays fully searchable next month at no additional cost.

Pricing questions, answered.
Is "1,000 photos / month" my library cap or a monthly cap?
It's a monthly cap on new analyses, not a library cap. Each billing month you can analyze up to your plan's number of new photos. Once a photo is analyzed it stays in your library permanently and never counts against future quotas. So a Hobby user on $19/mo can grow a library to 50,000 photos over four years and keep paying $19/mo, as long as no single month adds more than 1,000 new analyses.
What if I have more photos to analyze than my plan covers?
Two options, both transparent, no surprise charges:
- Spread it out. Connect a folder with 5,000 photos on the Hobby plan and we'll analyze 1,000 per month over five months, everything searchable as it lands.
- Pay overage. $0.025 per extra photo this month. Example: 1,200 photos on Hobby = $19 base + $5 overage (200 × $0.025) = $24 that month. We email you at 80% and 100% so you choose whether to keep going.
- Upgrade. One click to Pro (2,500 / mo) or Business (7,500 / mo) when overage adds up, we prorate the change.
What's the difference between Standard and Premium analysis?
Standard is fast and accurate, it nails the structured tags (scene, mood, focal subject) you'll search on every day. Premium writes richer descriptions and ready-to-publish alt text, the kind you'd be happy to drop into a blog post or client deck without editing. For most photos, Standard is enough. For hero shots and client-facing work, Premium is worth the extra 5x quota cost. Both run on Claude. See side-by-side examples on real photos →
How do I pick which quality to use?
You pick once per source folder, not per photo. Each Drive or Dropbox folder you connect has a "Premium analysis" toggle, on for hero/portfolio folders, off for everything else. You can also re-analyze any collection with Premium on demand (burns the extra quota for that batch only).
Do unused monthly photos roll over?
No, monthly quotas reset on your billing date, they don't stockpile. We size plans generously and downgrade fees are pro-rated, so it's better to right-size than to hoard a buffer you'll never use. Annual prepay gets you 20% off if your monthly use is steady.
Do you offer annual prepay discounts?

Is my data used to train AI?
No. We use Anthropic's Claude API with their no-training default. Your photos and metadata are never used to train any AI model, ours or theirs.
Do you offer non-profit / academic pricing?
Yes, 50% off Hobby and Pro for registered non-profits, schools, and journalism organizations. Email us with a brief description of your work and we'll set it up.
How does the 14-day Pro trial work?
Click "Start 14-day trial" on the Pro tier. We email you a magic-link to sign in, no credit card required. On day 15, you can either add a card to continue or your workspace silently drops to the Free tier limits. We email you 3 days before the trial ends.
